Maggie learning to sew

My friend Maggie kept commenting on my quilts and saying she wished she could make one. I told her she could, but she didn't believe me. I went to my local quilt shop (The Bunkhouse Quilt Shop) and asked Wanda (owner) what she thought would be a good pattern for a beginner. It just so happened that Wanda had just completed a Jelly Roll race quilt and showed me how to make it. I picked out a Batik jelly roll, called Maggie and asked if she wanted to make a quilt. I told her we would have the quilt top done before she left. Of course she (of little faith) didn't believe me but I proved her wrong. When it was time for her to leave she had a finished quilt top.
