Chantille's Bee Quilt

This is a quilt I showed my niece how to cut the hexagons and piece the quilt together and she was off and running. She made this quilt in the two weeks before moving to Italy so she could give it as a gift to a friend who is a beekeeper. It came out great and she did an awesome job.

We longarm quilted it at Bit's N Pieces in Pelham, NH.

Pattern Test Quilt for Melissa @ Bitter Sweet Designs

This was a pattern I tested for Melissa @ Bitter Sweet Designs back in July I think.
I still want to add another border to make it a bit bigger before quilting it.

Owl Baby Quilt

This quilt was made for my nieces mother to give to a friend for her newborn son.
The requirements were that it should have owls, books, letters and numbers if possible since mom was a librarian.
I think I managed to get them all in there nicely.

Whale Quilt

This is my latest quilt. It will be a store display at my lqs to display the big prints.
I love the whales. I still need to bind the quilt which is my least favorite thing which is why it always takes me so long. I may send this one to my binding fairy so I don't have to do it.  :)

Kerri's 6" Strip Mystery Quilt

Last year I taught my mother, sister and friend how to make a quilt using different block patterns. This was a first for all of them. I signed up for a 6" strip mystery quilt block of the month at the quilt shop and that is what we used.

Rather than purchase 6" strips of fabric I had them each purchase 3 fq's each month of any 3 fabrics of their choosing. I wanted to make it fun.

Because we used fq's they had enough fabric to make double the required blocks. Kerri decided that she would make 2 quilts and this was her end result. This quilt was given to her mother. I think she did a great job.

QOV Quilts

I made 3 of these giant star quilts as my version of a Quilt of Valor. I took them to Oklahoma with me in May 2014 when I went to attend my best friends college graduation. She is retired military so she made the arrangements for me to donate these quilts to de given to veterans.
I carried them on the plane with me as carry on items and never let them out of my sight until they were donated.   I wanted to make sure they didn't get lost or stolen.  :)
They all measured 60" x 60".
