Kellen's Dragon Quilt

This is the quilt I made for a Christmas gift for my sister-in-laws grandson Kellen in Hawaii.
I'm not too fond of the fact that the blocks on the panels weren't square and you can notice it on the bottom of the quilt as the amount of black fabric with the stars is very lopsided. I may have to tear the flying geese off that side and even out the bottom before adding them back on again.
Made in 2012 for Christmas.

Callie's Jelly Roll Quilt

This is the quilt I am making for a Christmas gift for my sister-in-laws granddaughter Callie in Hawaii. I used a jelly roll and made the jelly roll race quilt (aka the jelly roll 1600 quilt).

Jayden's Space Quilt

I decided I wanted to make quilts for my sister-in-laws grandchildren this year for Christmas. They live in Hawaii and I have never met them so I hope they will like the fabrics I chose.
This will be for Jayden.
Made in 2012 for Christmas.

Lava Lamp Quilt

This is my lava lamp quilt top. It's almost complete. I still need to add the inner and outer borders.
I finally added the borders to this quilt but now I need to find the memory card the photo is on.
Made in 2012.

My Mondo Bag

Mondo Bag made from Jelly roll strips cut into 2 1/2" squares.

Island Hobo Bag

Island Hobo bag made out of 12 jelly roll strips (2 1/2" x wof), batting, plus some yardage for the inside pockets, handles and binding. I ended up giving this to my mother as I knew I wouldn't end up using it. She is making one herself also.

Dad's (Charles') Quilt

This quilt was made for my dad. It is not the quilt I was planning on making him but when he wound up back in the hospital (lengthy illness) and we didn't know if he would come home again I whipped this one up quick to give to him. He was always cold and this kept him warm. He did come back home on hospice and we got to share another seven and a half months with him before he passed on November 3, 2011. I'm very thankful that my mother asked me if I would like his quilt back and now it resides in my home and nobody is permitted to touch it.  If you look real close you'll notice I accidentally flipped the last section (bottom 4 rows) when I added it. I noticed it when I got to the hospital and gasped as I laid it on his bed. My mom started laughing because she noticed what I was looking at and realized that I just noticed it and couldn't do anything about it (and will not).
